About Us

The Research and Publication Office (RPO) is the central office for research administration at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), functioning administratively in the Office of the Vice Chancellor. It is responsible for the formulation of regulatory policies and procedures governing basic and applied research throughout the university. RPO is actively involved in promoting the research culture among the faculty members and students and frequently arranges different research talks/seminars from the academicians and the industrial experts.

It also administers the review process for internal research grant opportunities for the AUST faculty members. This office directs and manages the internal and external research related activities. The office also administers the process of ethics clearance.

RPO also helps the faculty members to prepare proposals for external grants by inviting different resourceful persons, including the officials from the UGC and the professional experts. The RPO extends the capabilities to work with the industries by exploring different students’ projects. The students who have projects on their curriculum are exhibited to the industry personnel, which can promote extending the projects as a pilot project and even giving them a commercial value.
