Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) arranged a day long Media Workshop Program on 18 June 2015 at its Auditorium. Mr. Kazi Rafiqul Alam, President and Dr. Ehsanur Rahman, Executive Director of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) were present on the Dias at the very beginning of the program. They inspired the trainees delivering their valuable speech.
Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam APS to Vice-Chancellor and Mrs. Arifa Siddika Publication cum Information Officer of AUST attended the Program on behalf of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). The whole Program was divided by 4 separate sessions and open discussions were followed at the end of each session. In Opening Session a life sketch of Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, Founder of Ahsania Mission was presented among the trainees. In second session (Techniques and Tools), participants were taught about how to write Press-Release, News Conferences, Editorial, Features etc. In 3rd session (Group Exercise) preparing News Release, Feature and Group Work Presentation were the topics which were discussed. Very experienced persons were there to train the participants. Mr. Shanoor Wahid, Editorial Co-ordinator of the Daily Star gave a clear concept on Press Release writing, Report and Feature writing. Mr. Kazi Ali Reza, Director, Public Relations of DAM also discussed on various important issues. He also delivered a lecture on Media Strategy (Visibility, Branding and Advocacy).
Certificates were distributed by Dr. Ehsanur Rahman, Executive Director of DAM at the end.
