Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Gold Medal Award 2013 was held at the Multipurpose Hall of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology on 14 th September 2014 at 10.30 a.m. Renowned Educationist and Former-Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin was officially accorded the Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Award -2013. Chief Justice Mohammad Mozammel Hossain was present as the chief guest in the Program. The Program was presided over by the president of Dhaka Ahsania Mission Kazi Rafiqul Alam. Executive Director of the Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Dr. M. Ehsanur Rahman presented the welcome speech. Former-Chairman of Board of National Revenue and Former-Secretary Dr. Mohammad Abdul Majid and Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University Dr. Mizanur Rahman delivered speeches in the Program. Treasurer of the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam read out a brief history and life sketch of the gold medalist . Main Researcher of the Foklor Society of Rajshahi Division, Dr. Saifuddin Chowdhury presented the essay. Director of Mass communication Department of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Kazi Ali Reza gave a brief presentation on life and works history of Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R). It is mentioned here that for the contribution on various fields to society, Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Award is given each year for their brilliant work for the welfare of the Society as well as for the Country. Total 21 persons have been given this award. This is the 22nd Award giving ceremony of the Mission.
