The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized a workshop on “Hands-on Training on Office Management Tools”. It was designed for all Officers and Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) from various departments and offices. The program was held on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the School of Business Computer Lab, Level-6, Block-C, AUST.
The chief guest was Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque of AUST. The session chair was Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST. Prof. Dr. Wahiduzzaman, Head, School of Business, AUST and Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC, were present at the program.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Md. Foysal, Programmer, IIT, Jahangirnagar University. The program started with a warm welcome speech given by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST. Next, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Honorable Vice-Chancellor talked about the importance of office management and gave valuable advice on how to use it.
Our keynote speaker, Mr. Md. Foysal gave a detailed presentation on Office Management Tools. These were Microsoft Word and Excel. He focused on how to use alignment, conditional formatting, pivotal table, chart, data, table of content, watermark, header and footer and others. This program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC, AUST
