Sanzida Sabrin (Student ID- 20200104065) and Md. Siam Chowdhury (Student ID- 20200104100), two students of the CSE Department have been awarded ‘Khondaker Ahmed Muktadir and Mosammat Khodeza Begum Scholarship’ in the Spring 2023 semester.
in a brief scholarship ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor (In Charge), AUST, presented the scholarship prizes to the recipients at his office on the 29th of April 2024. Each student received a cheque of BDT 15,000/-.
Prof. Dr. Md. Shahriar Mahbub, Head of the CSE Department, Prof. Dr. S.M.A. Al-Mamun, Professor, Prof. Dr. Kazi A Kalpoma, Professor, Prof. Dr. Md. Shamim Akhter, Professor, Mr. Shoeb Mohammad Shahriar, Assistant Professor and Mr. Saha Reno, Assistant Professor, CSE Department, were also present in the ceremony. The attendees congratulated the recipients on their achievements.
To mention, AUST has established a trust fund worth taka 10 lacs for awarding the scholarship titled the ‘Khondaker Ahmed Muktadir and Mosammat Khodeza Begum Scholarship’ receiving a donation from Mr. Gaohar Ahmed.
In each semester, two students of the 4th year 1st semester of the CSE department are awarded scholarships based on merit as per their academic performances up to 3rd year 2nd semester. The CSE department started awarding this scholarship from the Fall 2022 semester and this was the 2nd iteration of the scholarship awarding program.
