The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) hosted a seminar named "Behavioral Ethics for Teacher". This seminar was held on May 20, 2023, in the AUST VC seminar hall. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro-VC, all Deans of the faculties, Head of the departments/Schools, and faculties attended the event.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi commenced the seminar with his inaugural address. Following him, Professor Dr. Sarwar Morshed, Director of IQAC at AUST, conducted the proceedings. The keynote speaker, Mr. Kazi Ali Reza, CEO, of Ethics for Sustainable Development (E2SD) renowned for his expertise, delivered a valuable speech. Mr. Kazi Ali Reza's discourse centered on the ethical and moral aspects of how freshmen perceive their new academic environment, focusing on feelings of alienation, fear, insecurity, neglect, and being overwhelmed amidst the hustle and bustle, eventually leading to antagonism. The seminar delved into various values pertinent to university-level education. The speaker underscored the significance of aspects such as dress code, physical appearance, grooming, classroom etiquette, effective communication, body language, and the organization of thoughts. Finally, the seminar ended with a vote of thanks from the director, IQAC, AUST.
