On August 21, 2023, the Department of EEE, AUST organized "Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahim Mollah Memorial Lecture Series” in the VC seminar room. The lecture series is named after Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahim Mollah, who was the former Head of, Department of EEE and Dean, of the Faculty of Engineering, at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). This was the second lecture in the series and the title of the Talk was “Think Like a Leader". Mr. Md. Ariful Hoque Shuhan, Vice Chairman, Reverie Power & Automation Engineering Ltd. was present as the keynote speaker of this prestigious event. It may be mentioned that Mr. Shuhan is an honorable member of the Industry Advisory Panel of the Department of EEE, AUST.
Honorable Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) and Pro-VC Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman graced the event as the Chief Guest. Professors, faculty members and students from different departments were present in the seminar. The event was jointly organized by the Department of EEE, IEEE AUST Student Branch, IEEE Women In Engineering Affinity Group, IEEE SPS & IEEE ComSoc Joint SB Chapter, IEEE Power & Energy Society AUST SB Chapter and AUST EEE Society.
