Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) organized a day-long workshop on ‘Investment in Capital Market’ for the students of the School of Business of Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) on Tuesday, 29 November 2022 at the Multipurpose Conference Hall of BICM. The aim of the workshop was to familiarize students with the investment procedure in the capital market. Students explored the state-of-the-art teaching-learning facilities at BICM. The workshop was focused on the importance of investment, investment avenues, investment in the capital market, and its relation with the economic development of the country.
Three faculty members from the School of Business (Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity. Associate Professor; Mr. Md. Mahfujur Rahman, Assistant Professor; and Mr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Lecturer) accompanied the students while visiting BICM. During the question-and-answer session, students raised several queries about investment in the capital market which were addressed by the faculty members. The program was concluded by Prof. Dr. Mahmuda Akter, Executive President of BICM, who encouraged the students to serve the country in the spirit of solidarity and work towards establishing a just society.
